Blackgang Chine Investigation 18/07/09 We were met by Dave the Key holder for the park, and was taken to the staff room where we could put our equipment for the nights investigation. Kelly placed the schedule on the table so that the team understood what was happening in this investigation. While the Team was reading the schedule Kelly, Elvis, Richard and James went to set the two locked off Sonyhandy camera’s in Rumpus Mansion, but not part of the Mansion that all the tourist would know, but upstairs where the family of Blackgang Chine use to live. Also they placed some trigger objects in the building, after leaving the Sonyhandy camera’s they TAPED the stairs off so the team could ensure the attic was clear of staff. Alison asked Julie to take a photo of Graham, and when she got her camera out of the bag to take the photo, she took a photo. The camera would not work, the batteries were in the bottom of her bag but the back of the camera was on but only moments earlier while on the way to the investigation Julie had stop at St Catharine’s and took some photo’s so she new camera was working fine, Strange. Also there is a Blackgang Staff photo on the walk and she pointed out a man in it and said that he walks the gardens of Blackgang, Alice confirmed to us that the man had died months earlier and he died of a heart attack. She also confirmed that he was the gardener at Blackgang. The Team then split into two teams as: Team One Mandy (lead investigator and training) Richard Julie (new part time team Member) Ally Fern James Team Two Kelly (lead investigator) Elvis Alison Heather (Medium) Graham. Team One Went off to investigate the Mansion, while Team Two went off to look at the rest of the park. Team ones report The Team walked to the rumpus mansion and when they got to the Mansion and was looking at this outstanding building they all felt that some one was peering out of the window. They entered the building through the side entrance, which goes up some narrow steps at the side of the house. They made their way to the back bedroom, and all said that it was cold. This was where Elvis the Floor Manger had placed a trigger object on the window ceil to see if any of the friendly spirits would move it. Also in this room Richard heard a stone fall to the ground. They continued around the mansion and felt a cold spot in one of the rooms. Also their cameras start to play up, and when I say that I mean not taking photos and the batteries going dead. Team Two We started our walk through the park and we first went around the Crocked House but Heather did not pick up on any spirits. Then we went through the Shipwreck Exhibition of the Clarendon. This part of the team still did not feel any thing unusual going through this area. We then headed towards the Weather Wizard halfway through the building it got very cold, and Kelly felt as if some think brushed past her hair. We started are walk back through the park to get to the staff room but we did not stop investigating, Heather came out with name Stephenson that was connected to a boat & a young boy, also she heard a scream. We continued walking and Heather said the name John or Johnny. When she said this we was nearing the big pirate boat. Alison came out with “do you what to hear some think strange, I just saw myself when I was child playing in this park, then I saw my self now, and thinking how lucking I was so many years later still walking around the park and even more so seeing it in the dark”. I was over whelmed with emotion. Heather believes that the spirit John came in close to me. Alison has done many investigations but this has never happened to her. We all met in the staff room, at this point we don’t talk to the other part of the team about any think that has happened. While in the staff room heather kept on seeing a lady popping backwards and forward. But Mandy and Kelly was feeling really sick at this point, and Kelly’s back was also hurting her. Break was over. Team One Started their next part of there investigation at the back part of the Sawmill. Fern felt a black hooded figure standing to the right of her but slightly behind, then she had felt as this person had touched her shoulder. The team continued into the Sawmill. Most of the team heard knocking sounds, but were unsure where the knockings sounds came from. Team Two Walked to Rumpus Mansion, We took some readings they were: Hum 68% - 70% Tem 19.8c –19.9c Heather began to feel warm and sensed a child in one of the back rooms, Kelly sat on the floor with the KII meter While Heather spoke to the spirit, and the spirit was answering through the KII meter. With the questions that we was asking it seem to us that this spirit was a young lad aged about 12 and he had his parents with him and his nanny that looked after him. We said goodbye to this spirit, because we was going to the attic with the rest of the team. So all the team was together and we went up the very narrow stairway to the attic where the locked off Sonyhandy cams were. Julie, Elvis, Heather, James and Richard were the first to try the spirit board. Well I must say that they did not like the spirit board but the spirits liked the KII meter. Julie and Elvis heard a noise. Because the spirit was not doing much on the board we changed the people on the board; so on the board now was Alison, Julie, Mandy and Fern, the spirit was still not doing a lot on the board. Alison did ask the spirit to do a circle motion on the board with the glass which it did but it seem to be more interested in the flashing lights of the KII meter. Kelly did not have much time left on her Sonyhandy cam, So Elvis set his camera up. He moved away from the camera, but he and Alice and Fern could see that the camcorder which was on the stand was moving slightly from side to side and you can see this movement when looking at the footage. At the foot of the spirit board there was a small travel stool, so we asked Graham our sceptic for the night to sit on the stool and we asked the spirit to touch his face. Even know Graham never felt any one touch him, on Elvis footage we caught an orb pass right in front of his face, Great. This is where we leave the investigation at Blackgang Chine. We would like to say thanks to Blackgang Chine for having the V.I.P Team. It is truly a great place to investigate.
