V.I.P has had the fantastic opportunity to interview Chris Conway, from Living's Most Haunted . Firstly we would like to thank you, we know how busy you have been lately so we really appreciate your time: 1. From the age of 6 you realized that you could see ghosts, how did you as a child cope with this experience and did it affect your childhood? 2. As the Founding Member of "UK Ghost Hunters Group" could you tell us why/how this group was formed and if you’re still an active member? 3. What do you, personally, believe happens to us after we die? 4. We have so much passion for investigating the Paranormal and for us it’s a hobby. What's the best advice you can give to someone thinking of starting a paranormal group? 5. What is your motto or advice you live by? 6. Are angels real? 7. You must have had many paranormal experiences, but can you brief us on a few extraordinary ones? 8. If you can have 6 dinner guests, 3 fictional and 3 real-life from any time period, who would those 6 people be and why?
To me it was normal. I didn't really know it was different until I spoke to a friend a few years later about what I see and hear. The look on his face told me that it was best to hide it away. However, I think it enhanced my childhood. I had a whole other world to confide in and seek advice from. I set up UK Ghosthunters to try and find proof for the world about the existence of the spirit world. It also gave me the opportunity to investigate places I normally wouldn't get access to. I am no longer an active member now. I like to give 100% to things and felt I couldn't give 100% to 2 groups. Unfortunately I only managed 3 investigations with UK Ghosthunters before being offered the role on Most Haunted. However, the group is still very close to my heart as it was my baby. After we die we move onto another plane of existence. There are various planes. The one we are on at the moment is the bottom plane. When we die we either move up to the next (hell??? Basically where we go if we are evil) or the one above that (purgatory??? Where we go to work in the spirit world). We can climb the planes as we improve spiritually. The top plane (heaven???) is unobtainable for us. This is strictly for the higher spirits (God, Angels). Do it for the right reasons. Don't do it to seek fame. Everything happens for a reason. Yes. See answer 3. The spookiest one for me was when I was in an old tower, with a private grave-yard. I used to visit this place regularly. It was in the middle of nowhere. I used to love sitting there as the view was very peaceful. However, one very sunny day the atmosphere changed and the wind started to howl. Before I knew it I was being enveloped by evil spirits. It is the ONLY time I have ever run away from the spirit world. My 6 guests would be: Real life guests Elvis: so he could entertain us with his fabulous music. Charles Dickens: so he could tell us a wonderful ghost story at the end of the night. Al Pacino: he's the best actor the world has ever seen. I'd bore the poor man with all my questions. Fictional guests Bob Cratchet: the poor man needs a bit of fun in his life. My last 2 fictional guests would be Hilda and Stan Ogden from Coronation Street. These 2 would entertain us with all their arguing
