Dimbola Lodge Revisit

The V.I.P team was so impressed with Dimbola Lodge that we all decide that a revisit was needed. However this time we went on a rather different night, the night was warmer, as the sun had been shining with overcast clouds all day and there was no wind or rain like last time we visited, so when we arrived Alison took her first reading of the night which was,

Elvis started to set up the equipment in the double room at the front of the house. This is where we had some activity last time. Jules put out some trigger objects, she placed a little doll and car and Russian dolls in what was the meeting room but now has art works in. These items were placed there as we had a little girl spirit in here. Jules also placed some match boxes and a cigarette case and inside the case some matches spelling out “HI”. These items were placed on the storage heater at the bottom of the stairs.

Then the team was ready to start the investigation again into Dimbola Lodge. We made our way up to the double room. We all sat down to see if we could hear any thing, after a while Kelly started to ask questions, we had decided to try white noise and Paul was running his evp equipment. Kelly asked questions like what is you name, how old are you, did you live here, questions that only need one-word answers. Linda and Kelly could feel the energy building up. So Linda started to call out as we all sat quiet, listening for any knocks, whistle, etc.

Kelly, Mandy and Alison then went into the other double room at the front of the house; this is where Kelly did a witch spell that is to help summon up one of the fifty. Now while Alison and Mandy were in the same room as Kelly they did not see anything that Kelly did as this would break the spell, but we did hear what she was saying. Once she had done the spell and packed it all away they started on the spirit board, it was very slow to start with, but it seem to us all that we had a girl on the board with the name of Poppy and she was aged 17.

However events in the other room was unfolding.

 The team were stood in the circle (as the team were trying to build up energy) Paul felt a cold chill down his back and the coldness was slowly moving forward through his body, getting colder as the spirit moved into him. Paul felt his body shape changing and his breathing started to deepen then he heard (in the background) someone say look at Paul’s face his eyes have disappeared and he's got sideburn’s!! Then after a while nothing was happening. He was just moving around the circle, so Elvis suggested that only Linda and Paul should link together so they did. They both sat down on the floor for a while as Paul felt himself get cold again, this time with the energy building up inside him, he heard a voice inside him say "I don't like Linda" at this time Paul had no control of his body then without any warning with the energy so intense, Paul began to shake and shiver as the spirit exploded out of Paul’s body and into Linda’s with great force, it knocked Linda over, then Linda started to struggled with the spirit. This is when Elvis called for help on the walkie-talkie; this is when Alison Kelly and Mandy rushed back into the room. Paul had taken the camcorder and Elvis helped Jules with Linda.

 We all thought that it was a good to time for a break.

After the break the team split into two teams Paul led Mandy Malcolm Damo and Andy to where the spirit board was, for them to do some work on the board. While Kelly led Alison Elvis Jules and Linda to what was the meeting room, which now displays artwork. This is where the scribe mirror was set up. The readings in this room were

 Linda was the first to have ago, she seem very interested in the way her face changed in the mirror, (now in the tea room there is a picture of Julia Cameron that changes into a man) and this is what Linda was seeing in the scribe mirror. Then some of the rest of this group had ago at the scribe mirror too.

Then for the last hour or so we divided into smaller groups, to see if being in smaller groups all round the house would bring any more spirits forward to us. At one point Paul was in the attic with Damo. As they entered they could sense something was not right, so they took a few photos of the loft then Paul sat on a box. Paul then asked Damo can you see anything moving at the other end of the loft, Damo replied yes a shadow in the back right hand side, But Paul could see another in the other corner as well, Damo agreed. So they kept quite for a while to see if they could hear any movement but it was silent apart from a knock over the far side, they then got the KII meter and started to ask questions, in which the lights went to the red (this was a positive sign) quite a few times, then as time went on Paul felt cold on his right side slowly it moved closer into the centre of his body but not all the way. Damo could see and feel the energy beside him. They then asked the spirit, who are you and are you beside Paul. The KII meter went up to the red that indicated yes! Then Paul asked the spirit to touch Damo and the spirit started to touch Damo's shin! Then Paul asked the spirit make the lights go if he liked damo? The KII went of as if to say yes then Damo had a sensation on his other shin then the other again, as if the spirit was playing with both his shin's they then asked a few more questions and got responses on the KII but they were getting weaker as the spirit was losing energy, Paul felt very weak and then the mood of the attic changed, there was no response on the KII meter so they both agreed to join the rest of the team. They met up with Elvis and Jules so they all returned to the Attic, but the energy had gone from what or who was in there before. In the mean time Kelly’s small group had met up with Malcolm and Andy that were in the Julia Cameron bedroom, reading in this room were. Hum 55%

 So they all decided to give the spirit board one more go.

Kelly started to talk, and the glass started to move.

Kelly then started to whistle and asked the spirit to whistle back. But we did not hear any thing. So we closed the board down. And Kelly called it a night as it was very close to 2.00 am so we all gathered our equipment together. And once more left Dimbola Lodge behind and the spirits that roam the building. The team still agree that there is still further need to investigate Dimbola Lodge..

Kelly's Conclusion

Extremely weird night in all, usually a great place for an investigation but this night was one of those nights for only a few to experience their own experiences. Know most hunters now that when your out as a team you will usually have atleast a handful of experiences that you'll share, this way the activity is believed to be true as you are all seeing or hearing or sensing it. However this night I believe was a night for those who needed the proof more than the others !! I think they found what they were looking for and in Paul's case it spurred him on to obtain a master class in reiki by a strong & faithful woman by the name of Sandra Sharpe. I always believe that things happen for a reason and I do think that this night was ment to push certain team members to look deeper and train themselves.

This has certainly helped strenghten the team's hold and has enlightened me to call a meeting for a team building day.
