Fort Victoria Sept 09

The team arrived at Fort Victoria; there was no wind and the first of the nights readings were taken Hum 63% Temp 21.8c While the team were getting ready to start the investigation, Hettie and Mandy were standing very quiet. Mandy then came over to Alison and said that she has just seen a figure of a man, and a man of the spirit world was already pulling Hettie along with a little boy who walked with us for most of the investigation. The Team walked around the top of the fort over looking the sea. Hettie said that we have got a Thomas with us and he is wearing a red uniform. Then Kelly and Elvis saw an orb, but not in their cameras but with their naked eye. Then Kelly’s batteries in her camera drained along with Jule’s. Hettie said that Thomas dragged the cannons along here she could see that Thomas was on guard walking back and forward other the same bit. Thomas also said to hettie that we should look at the walls for signs of a big explosion that had happened there. The team headed back to the car, and Kelly and Elvis was still investigating near the car when they found a room, which looked square from the out side, but once inside the ceiling was arched. Elvis could smell something, like a mouldy smell, but Kelly, Jules and Alison could not smell it. Kelly called out and we heard a scratching noise, that did start and stop, and we all seemed to pin point it to some old pipes that lay on the floor. But we also seem to think at one stage that it was a rodent of some sort so Alison kicked the pipe but nothing came running out Alison and Kelly came out of the building, but Elvis and Jules stayed in there and Elvis picked up a stick and poked the stick down the two lengths of pipes, nothing came out, BUT IF NOTHING CAME WHAT WAS MAKING THE NOISE? Then Elvis and Kelly found a doorway that had been brick up, but there was brick’s missing at the top and the bottom, so they took some picture’s through the hole.This tunnel leads to the engine room. Then Hettie came over to us and said Peter is getting impatience he is saying come on come and see my hiding place. Hettie started to walk towards the woods that are located near Fort Victoria. We followed Hettie through the forest and we came across a circle of seats and in the centre was a carved owl. We continued following Hettie but she seemed to be confused so we double back on our selves and down a different path. Hettie then shouted thank you Peter, and she said that he had just shown himself with his bright green eyes. Hettie then showed us to a very big square hole in the ground about 10-11feet deep the sides were concreted but it was very over grown. And at the far end was a funny looking chimney that was capped with concrete so there could not be any accidents. Hettie felt that he was a young lad called Peter Johnson. He was aged about 8 or 9 wearing length trouser, a shirt and a red scarf. After many photo’s we made our way back to the fort, but on the way back we could smell lemons which was very strange. We walked around the bottom of the Fort; as we walked back across the car park, Kelly and Elvis found a clearing in a bush, with further investigation it was a very long tunnel and it split off into a large room still with the arched ceiling like before. Also in the same area there was a further two rooms, which I have since found out is where they housed the coal. The team had a quick break. As we were having a break we all decided that it would be good if Peter would come forward on the spirit board. So we took the spirit board to top of the main fort and Kelly, Hettie, Mandy and Jules made themselves comfortable on the floor to start. Elvis was using the Sony handy cam, while Alison was writing it all down. Are you happy here-yes Have you any family here-no Do you miss them-yes Can you visit your family-yes Is any of your family alive-yes Do you like the boats-yes Did you see any of them sink-yes Did you try and help-yes How many other spirit are with us-2 Are they adults-yes Can you see the green light(KII)-yes Kelly then just said good boy- and the glass said yes So you have no brothers-no Was it you that showed us the tunnel-yes Did you play there-yes Can you show us with the glass where you are standing-near Elvis Are you sitting like us-no Do you know my name-no So we all said our name’s Then Kelly asked him to do a figure of 8-which he did Then a big circle Can you spell your dads name-T O M So your dads name is Tom-yes What is you mums name-P S T U Q Then the glass went to goodbye, are you saying good bye-yes Goodbye-goodbye With that we had a go with the dowsing rods, Kelly thought that it was strange when she walked away the rods open, but walked back towards the team they start to close together and close more when she walked towards Alison’s torch (which is green). So Alison had a go, and they also moved apart when walking away from the team but moved closer when near the team, so we came to the conclusion that even though Peter had said goodbye he was really still with us. We packed away and went back to the car, where we did our last reading for the night which was Hum 65% Temp 19.0 c Kelly’s Conclusion: In retrospect, this place holds much tradegy for many souls. History states that a Naval ship crashed into a sailing vessel and many men died, I believe it was 27. Although no-one stationed here, and many soldiers there were, helped to rescue any of these people. I think this is a place most who worked here would rather forget. . However this is an awesome place for a fresh investigation Team to come too. It holds many tunnels, most hidden, and is certainly on our list to revisit next year.
