We arrived at Newport, I.O.W Quay side. There we are greeted by Mr Dave Moore the owner of the Bus museum, a very nice Man. What was great was he was wearing an old bus driver uniform so it was like stepping back in time talking to him. Dave Moore showed Kelly and Elvis around the buses, to say which ones we were aloud on, and which ones we were not. Can I please add at this part, that Kelly and Elvis was talking at the far end of the building, and I (Alison) walked towards them to join the conversation, while they was talking I noticed Kelly looking strangely in the other direction then joined the conversation once again, then Mr Dave Moore left us to it. I asked Kelly what did she see, and she said “I saw a person in grey top walk into the bus, she went on to say that this person was head height to the window of the bus.” Can I please add here that we were all wearing our red V.I.P jackets or hoodies. So it was not one of the team, also the only other person present was Mr Dave Moore and Kelly, Elvis and Alison was talking to him at the time. We began our night with taken readings Hum was 59% Temp was 21.5 c the time was 9.48pm Elvis and Kelly placed their Sony Handy Cams, one up the stairs and one on the main floor. Alison did notice the clocking in machine which belongs at Ryde bus station was very loud; it sort of had a hum to it. We went and sat in Double Decker reg number GDL 764, while we was getting on the bus Kelly made a comment that she did not like the look of the next bus (the white one). Heather said that she felt a great sadness in the building. Elvis saw movement in a bus at the back. Then Heather said 1945 and Julie moved because she did not like the other bus through the window, she felt on edge. Heather had this feeling that the bus came from Brighton and not the Island. Kelly said that she felt that some one was touching her hair, Elvis took a picture of Kelly and there is a orb on her hair. (Strange.) Also as we sat on this bus, we had a feeling like the bus was rocking slightly, as if some one was walking on the bus. Heather had goose bumps. Julie and Elvis went and sat down stairs on this bus to make sure that know one was walking about, By now the time was 10.30 pm when Elvis came back up the stairs he also had goose bumps. Heather then came out with I am Thomas- Hello, and he was in his late 30’s and he looks after the buses. Alison then saw what looked like someone peeping their head round one of the buses at the other end of the bus museum. Which made her move to the other end of the bus. Julie had been seeing a lady figure sitting on the bus next door to the bus that we was sitting on. But what was more amazing Kelly and Alison saw her too. So we decided to go on the bus (VDL 673S) that we had seen this figure. But Kelly was saying that she did not what to get on the bus, but Kelly plucked up the courage as a paranormal investigator to get on the bus. Julie said that she felt as if her legs had turned to jelly. Then Elvis and Alison decided to investigate up stairs but what we found up stairs was really strange the seats where that lady figure was seen where not actually screwed down they were on the opposite seats. Weird. We decided to have a break at that point, when we got back to the shop area we took readings again, Hum was 68% Temp was 18.2c The time was 11.30pm and we was having a chatter among our self’s when Elvis decided to move the Sony Handy Cams in different places in the building. We then started to investigate more of the bus museum and ventured on to PDL 519 aka Tadpole, and this is where Kelly heard a small cry. But Heather had no spirits coming forward. We then ventured on to one of the opened top buses at It was very strange up there, I know that we was in a very open building, but we seemed to be getting bangs and knocking and we all heard something which seemed to sound like footsteps. We had sat up there about half an hour. We then started to investigate, the area above the shop, but I must say that every think that we heard from the bus top had stopped. So we came back down and took a couple of photos of the tram, and took the last reads of the night, which was. Hum 72% Tem 17.1c So the V.I.P Team finished their investigation of the Isle of Wight Bus Museum. It was a great investigation even though the medium did not pick up on much spirit, we had loads of knocks and bangs and the orb picture’s are great. We would like to come back. Thanks Mr Dave Moore. Kelly’s thoughts of the night: What can I say, unusual investigation for V.I.P, the building itself for me holds no apparent spirit activity however the buses are a totally different story. I felt like I was intruding in some respects on what would have been a busy community hot spot for some. Let’s not forget that buses then held an important role for mothers alike seeking daily communication like we do in our bingo halls or nightclubs. I know what I saw that night and on that note we all had personal experiences some caught on camera. I wouldn’t say this was a highly active area and none of the buses hold any bad accidents where people lost lives, its all happy memories here. Hopefully in time and a few more visits the visiting spirits may want to come forward more but saying that they are probably just going about their own daily routine that made them happy in life.
