King Edwards Hospital - 2011 We arrived at the destination expremely excited at the prospect of this looming building being all ours for a whole evening !! We joined up with Michael Sambrook, staff at european ghost hunting tours, followed by his tea mates and film crew. eVENTUALLY AFTER SOME TIME CHASING THE GUY WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE OPENING THE BUILDING FOR US WE ENTERED TO SET UP IN OUR BASE CAMP !! We took a stroll to the main buildings entrance and spotted the guards on patrol, man they have some really nasty looking guard dogs !! EGHT found us and advised us this area was totally of limits for the evening, we left the area mighty deflated. So the evening begins, and we were split into two groups, Claire Sambrook lead our team ( which lucky for us contained all my team bar Kara, usually i leave no man behind but on this occasion she was totally safe).We took the second floor whilst the other team took the bottom floor, now so u understand the layout i will explain it simply : Building entrance on ground level, lots of corridors leading and twisting all over ground floor. Stairs lead down to second floor and then to third and so on . ... This building was totally trashed and it had been done purposely, you see its hired to air soft skirmish group and let me tell you no area of this building was left un-shot !!! Obviously the dangers spotted were plastic bullets lying on floor ( everywhere) so any noises heard with regards to throwing items could not be used as credible evidence for obvious reasons. Vials of fake blood were strewn everywhere to which we were not made aware this was fake so we all totally got confused why the NHS would leave patients blood lying around discarded lol. I hear you ask me what does this building hold when the light fades and the night creeps in !! Well it harbours LOADS OF SPIRITS of the past and of the present !!! We was followed most of the night by a humming woman, she seemed to be interested in everything we were doing but not unhappy in anyway. Then there are the nurses who make their positions quite clear !!! Doors open and close on their own, there is chatting and crying in this building and it does not stop !! Most people ask us if we felt scared on the night, and im going to say NO WAY this was one of the BEST EXPERIENCES of my Hunting Life and I wish i owned this building coz we only got a small glimpse into it and it holds so much more !!! Off course as with these types of buildings you would expect misery and no hope and it certainly lived up to its reputation as spirit chanelled through Kevin Wass and he became at times like he knew the building inside and out and at other times a scared patient who was totally confused !!
