Lake working mans Club

We were met by Michelle and Gordon,who work in the Working Man’s Club.

 Alison took her first reading of the night.

Elvis set up the dvd , t.v and cam upstairs in the other bar area. Now as you can see with the footage that the place was very relaxing to the team and we just seemed to plod along like we had all the time in the world. Alison & Jules noticed some dominos, & stacked some up so they could be used as a trigger object. Other trigger objects Jules and Mandy used Royalty (cards) of each suit was placed other a piece of paper and some of the edges were drawn around, this was on the stage area. Also two stacks of coins one of 2 p’s and the other was 1p’s. Three play cars were placed on a shelf around a vase. Also a pool ball was placed on the black spoton a pool table. Upstairs on the bar they placed a black wooden cat standing upright to see if it could be knocked over.

Linda had said to Alison that she kept on hearing the song “ I am going to keep on loving you” she thinks that it is sung by “Aero Speed wagon”.

Everyone was ready to start the investigation into Lakes Working Mans Club.

We started in the Games room.

Soon into the Vigil Kelly felt as if the room had got colder so Alison did another reading of the room and it was. Hum 68%

We all sat quiet in the room once again calling out to any spirits, all of a sudden we heard this noise, it was coming from the men’s loos. Amazingly it was the hand driers. This was weird as they were the hand driers that started with the motion of the hands being placed underneath the dryer. As you can see with the footage, Kelly walks into the corridoor and the men’s loo door was open when the drier started up again.

Excited, We all got settled again and asked for them to do something else. Mandy saw a small figure to her right, which freighted the life out her. More of the team were saying that they were getting colder, so Alison took another reading, which was

Alison felt a draft around her legs, and Mandy commented on the fact that one of her legs where colder then the other.

At the far end of this room there was a doorway, it seemed like there was a ticking sound come from that area. So we all went to investigate. It brought us to a small storage room, we all stood there and listened, we did hear a clicking sound but it turned out to be some sort of timer above the back exit door. However we did hear something strange and we were all unsure what it was, this is played on our footage. We continued for another 15 minutes here but nothing else transpired, so we all decided to have a break.

We decide to do the spirit board while Elvis and Jules decided to stay downstairs in the games room. It was not long before Elvis was calling for Kelly on the walkie talkie as the hand drier was going of again with out anyone placing their hands underneath. So that left three investigating downstairs for a little longer, while Alison, Mandy, Linda and Michelle and Gordon was sitting around the spirit board in the upstairs bar. As Alison was on the board the board session was not written down. we had a nice young man with the name of

 Fred come through and he liked

Michelle’s family so Michelle asked Fred some questions regards the happening’s in her home that only she would know the answers too. We asked Fred his age and he said that he was 39 years of age, and he was working as a steward in the club in 1998. As Fred was happy to talk to us, Kelly asked Fred to see how many fingers she was hold up to the cam, but with her back towards the board so the people on the board couldnt see the number, Fred moved the glass to the number of fingers

that Kelly was holding up. This was great for the team when he got it right. Fred left the board and we had another man come through called Phil, but Phil had not been on the board very long when Michelle said that she was feeling uneasy and felt like she was going to cry, so Linda removed Michelle from the board and took her into another room and explained why she may have felt like that. By now Kelly had joined the board and we continued. While talking to Phil we heard a very strange sound that we have used (but not on the Lake Working Mans Club footage, because the dvd recorder footage had writing on it but it was a great piece of footage and as it was audio more then vision that we would like you see and listen too we still felt that we needed to use the footage), so please look at the

 site for that piece of footage. We did have a Stu also come forward to the board, but he was not very forth coming with his answers to us. As the energy was going from the board we closed the spirit board down and the V.I.P team called it a night at Lake Working Mans Club
