Humidity 65 - 62% 62.4f We all met up in a quiet back light car park and waited for the rattle of keys in the main door that meant our investigation would start. However it was set to be a night we all would never forget in a hurry, in fact we still talk about it now. When we entered the main entrance we were greeted by a huge oval shaped room and dome shaped roof, all of which can be viewed in order below. We walked through many corridors and into all rooms to which we had access. We were told how a fire had swept through the building and how those areas were not open for health and safety reasons, however never the less plenty of rooms to check out and investigate. We set up our base in the staff kitchen; the manager even had cups and kettles there for our own use which was fantastic. First night out with team for Chris n Alison so we all went through some of the equipment we had, although they had previously read up basic info on these types of items. We decided to split into two groups: Team 1: Heather, Chris, Alison, Alice & myself Team 2: Judith, Louise, Kaz, Mandy Team 1 downstairs, team 2 upstairs each had half an hour on each level to see what we could find; this is so it makes it more successful for us to spend more time in suspected haunted rooms rather than quiet areas with no interest. Team 1 found one specific room very active and decided that this room was where we wanted to focus the team. Team 2 found the upstairs active also and wanted to return at a later point to look into it further. Teams Swapped levels. Team 1 found residual energy more likely in the upper levels that we could reach; team 2 also noted the same room they wished to focus attention on. Tea Break 11.00-11.20 pm Investigation begins within one of the rooms downstairs (this information is not given on the name of the room due to the nature of its use) with all team members present. 2 sets of Barrier Beam alarms set, one on the entrance inside the room and another set up outside of the room. Hygro Meter checked for levels (which are stated). Photos taken within the first 15 Mins then everyone settled down as our Developing Medium and Clairsentient sat down around a table to build up the energy. We allow total quiet for this as it helps them to connect. The temp of Heather hands started at 20.8 and a reading later was 23.8 The temp of Judes hands at the start was 22.1 and the reading later was 29.8 During this period of time, Jude was saying that she was warm, but her back was warmer, so a reading of Judes back was conducted which was 20.8, still Jude said that it was getting warmer so more readings were taken, 19.1 then 17.7, and the last reading was 16.7. While this was going on Heather could feel a lady behind Jude, moments later Heather came out with name MARY. I know that there was no surname with this Mary, but George Ward that brought the house in the first place was married to a Mary. Alice was sitting a little way from the table but she had a strange feeling around her legs, so I (Kelly) took some readings and her average leg temp was 24.9 and her upper body temp was 17.8. Alison mentioned that she felt like someone was watching over her, but it seemed like they was making sure that she wrote things down properly. Glass Divination was conducted and WOW, I thought Priory was good, it was the best we have had over all our investigations. Although the spirits joined us that night they didn’t make any noises with their voices, however what they lacked there they certainly made up for in Glass Work. What we quickly Established was that a man with the initials A.E missed his love (name unknown), seems his lover had the same features as Mandy, this was established upon me exiting the room with Mandy as she felt some great sadness and anger all in one. Upon re-entering I suggested Mandy should join the table, she obliged. Upon asking the spirit to make the glass spin fast it did this straight away, so I asked him to do a figure of eight, I took the glass and showed the spirit so that no-one could say “well perhaps he don’t know how to do one”. AMAZINGLY he actually did this with 4 fingers on the glass, it was twisting and at times made us all feel we were having a game of twister lol. It was the best thing I’ve ever seen!!! We didn’t stop there, OH NO. We asked it to tip the glass over and every time we asked he did it, it was truly amazing. 12.15-12.30pm Tea Break We all decided to check out individual areas, although the house was big it was not hard to find your way around, plus we needed to cover other areas. Whilst in the Main entrance we could all hear footsteps, they seem to be walking amongst us and at one point shuffled past me along with a nudge on my jacket. How excited was I lol? Very difficult to talk in this area due to echoes so we all stood very still as to not confuse our footsteps or voices with anything or anyone else. We rounded of the night with the Cellar; did we brave the Cellar you ask? Well that would be telling!! ! No I’m afraid we couldn’t, the owners decided due to health and safety no teams are allowed to enter this part of the building. Seems silly really especially if you have your own Insurance that they still wouldn’t allow it, makes you wonder what they might be hiding down there lol. Anyhow we did conduct another glass divination session to contact Henry the Smuggler if indeed that was his name........ And yet again 3 of us, fingers on glass and off it went haring around and around. No option for asking questions for this one he was only interested in us leaving his space, he too was knocking the glass over time and time again but this time you got the impression that if you went anywhere near his Cellar (or booty) you would get that glass thrown your direction. Which I don’t mind but hey rules are rules, do not enter means just that. Is this property Haunted? We would say YES!! But only by as many as two souls. However this property is full of residual energy that could be investigated further by setting up locked off cameras. As for the Cellar, well if anyone wants to pay us to sleep down there you’ve got a deal!! ! Just need the owner to lift the ban to come soon . . . . . awaiting infomation
