Priory Manor Part 2

Elvis and Paul arrived at the location before eveyone else so they could set up the equipment, they set up the IR cam facing room 4 and part of the corridor.

The rest of the team arrives at the location.

Jules starts to place some trigger objects, she placed in the playroom/stage area a piece of paper with a picture of the st George’s cross on it also placed on paper was a old cigarette tin drawn around and 5x 1p’s also drawn around. Jules then placed in room 4, which was going to be locked off for the first half of the investigation, an old photo of her grandad and his warrant also another st George’s Cross picture.

While the team where making a cup of tea Jules was taking some photo’s and she had taken a photo near the main entrance, Alison saw her walk away from this place looking spooked Alison asked “what is wrong” she said I just heard a door go. So Jules and Alison went to check it out, Jules was in shock as she had just taken a picture of the storeroom and the door was open now it is shut, so she retook a photo. Alison opened the door to see if it would close on its own, they both walked away to see if it the floor boards could have made the door shut, which it did not, so was this paranormal activity so early in the investigation? The door was left open and all the team new that it was left open to see if would happen again.

We were telling the team when Hettie said “I knew that it was starting as I have just seen a spirit of a little girl standing on the kitchen steps”.

Alison took a reading of the bar area.

Then the team split into two.

Group one

Alison, Kelly, Elvis, and Hettie

 Group Two

Jules, Linda, Paul, Malcolm and Damo.

Group one sat on the top landing outside room four and the reading for the top landing was.

We started to call out and some photo’s were taken and looking back at them they did catch some orbs, but the only thing that was anything to go on was Hettie came out with the name Annie, but her next statement was weird she then said “but that is not her really name that is what they call her”. We then decided to go to the Dining room as Group two was still wondering around upstairs.

In the dining room

It felt much colder so Alison left the temp reader on and with in minutes the temp had gone down to 13.9.We were all sitting around a table as we had started some work with the glass on the spirit board and the glass temp was reading 13.6. As they were not coming forward through the glass we started to call out, we all then heard a noise from the small set of stairs which lead into the dinning room, Elvis went to look, as he walked up the stairs he took a photo of the bar room, and he caught a very nice bright orb behind the chair. While we all sat around the table calling out Alison felt like her arm was being lightly touched. Then the walkie-talkie went off, and group two was asking for group one to meet them in room 12.

When we walked in to the room they were all standing around the bed holding hands with the KII meter in the middle of the bed. We let them continue with what they were doing. Jules was calling out for the spirits to come forward to the KII meter. And we all saw the meter go off several times. Then Kelly said that she could smell dirty nappies, weird. Linda was amazed with the energy in this room, and she said this several times. Hettie then said she felt like someone had touched the top of her head. As group one arrived late in the room, we had missed a lot what had happened and we all decided it was time for a break and time for everyone to catch up with each other’s experiences so far.

 Group two advised “We all decided to go into room 12, we placed ourselves apart from Malcolm he stood and watched but the rest of group two were around the bed and linked hands and left the KII meter in the middle of the bed for all to see, and to make sure that no one was touching it to set it off, all so it was not near any electrical appliances. All of group two kept on saying they could not believe the energy in the room. Then they said that Linda commented on the fact that she had got goose bumps all over her body then she felt weird and clasped to the floor. While this was happening the KII meter kept going off. Malcolm then joined the circle and he also started to feel weird and he clasped forward onto the bed. Paul commented that he sensed the energy of a spirit person walking around the room with them. And then you joined the room”.

The team was still in there groups and Hettie was taking us to where she thought the energy was coming from, She led us to Room 15 and the readings in this room were,

She only stood in there for a while and she took us out of this room. Hettie then moved us on to Room 19

In here Kelly had the smell of dirty nappies again. We all then heard a scraping noise, Elvis and Kelly saw that the mirror was moving and they tried to see if there was any movement with the floorboards, but there was not. Alison then sat in front of the mirror, this is when it went weird, because she started to cry but was very unsure why. Hettie then said that she thought that she had got a surname, of Sealy or Sealry? Also a Jane, but she did not live here, she was from over the water.

We all decided to meet up in room 12 again.

 Malcolm felt uneasy in this room he and Damo went to check out the attic. We called out and asked for the spirits to build up their energy again, the KII meter did go off again but that was all that did happen.

The team then adventured in to Room 28.

Linda could sense a bloke called Peter he was aged about 19 he was unmarried and he lived down the road she was unsure why he was showing himself to her.

We all then moved to Room 4 to try the spirit board

Damo & Malcom rejoin.

On the board were Elvis, Paul, Damo and Malcolm. They are asked for any spirits to come forward to the board, the glass did not move but there was a draught around the board.

Earlier on Paul had set up an EVP experiment, that also continued when we was in the room. Since being home and having time to go through everything that was collected that night, Paul has heared a very quiet rumbling sound. He checked with the rest of the team to see if there was a fridge in the room, which there was not, also there is a time difference between each time the noise was heard. But what was strange when we entered the room, even though we was not hearing the noise it did continue on the evp it is sometimes louder than us like it wanted to be heard…We also have an EVP of want sounds like a girl/young lady,,, so listen out for that…coming on the site soon.

The Priory Manor Hotel, is an amazing place the main stairs are out of this world, the team would love to go back and do a revisit.

Kelly's Conclusion

This Hotel is an absolute favourite of mine and rightly so, the activity in here can be top class. Whilst the spirits decided to be rather shy on this night compared to the last investigation done here they certainly made up for this with EVP. This is your typical haunted hotel senario in everyway possible and I for one think the owners of this hotel were more than accomdating to our needs. Thank you very much owners for your trust in our team.

The team were spot on with their approach on this investigation in everyway and they really did me proud !!!

Yes I will be coming back to this location in the fall !!
