The V.I.P team arrived at Ryde Theatre on a very cold night. Elvis and Kelly started to place the equipment that was going to be used for the night’s investigation. While Jules and Mandy start to place some trigger objects around the building. On the balcony at the front on a table they placed an old fashioned camera, an old pack of playing cards, a silver cigarette holder and light up clapper hand. Also on the next table they placed a pack of I.O.W playing cards spread out, but some were placed as upright triangles. Also in the main hall on the floor near the speakers (which were not on) a movie clapperboard that was open. Two stage masks and a feather fan. Alison took the first set of readings for the night from the base area, the bar. Hum 53% Temp13.0c Time 7.15pm The Team and Friends split into two groups Team one Alison, Hettie, Linda C, Damo, Dave, Jules & Elvis Team two Linda W, Kelly, Mandy, Richard and two members of public & Malcolm. Team one Went into the Chamber room. Team two Went to the upper balcony. What happened with team one, Alison took some readings Hum 43% Temp 18.8c The room had a step at the back with a arced shaped bench and a very large wooden chair in the centre, a chair of some importance. Alison asked Hettie to sit on this chair and the rest of the team to sit in the other chairs around the bench. Jules all of a sudden jumped and she said that she felt the table move on to her leg. Hettie then said that she had just had a gentleman walk in and his name is Thomas. We all held hands to see if we could get the energy up in the room. Alison could feel a tingling in Damo’s hands it was a weird feeling. Hettie then said that this Thomas was in his mid 40’s and he worked in this building as an usher. So Alison went over to the door and said that the door was locked and could Thomas show us the way out. Alison then asked Linda C if she was having any feelings knowing that she sometimes connects with spirit. She said that she has a Fredrick and she was getting that he is an architect. Then all of a sudden Hettie said that she could see a wrestling ring. And the name “rollerball” Rocco. Elvis who is fan of wrestling confirmed that this is a wrestlers stage name, his real name was Mark Rocco. Alison took some more readings, as we were all getting very cold in this room. Hum37% Temp 23.8c As you can see the temperature had risen but we were all feeling the cold, this could be to all of our body heat in the room. Team one and Team two changed areas to investigate. So Team one went up stairs to the balcony. We all got settled in some of the seats, Alison and Jules sat on the floor just under the screen/sound room. Alison took some readings Hum 25% Temp 24c There was a breeze going around us, but were unsure where it was coming from as there is no windows up that high. Hettie had the name Lilly. We could all hear voices so Alison asked Damo to ask Kelly through the walkie- talkie if theY could hear us in the chamber while they were investigating the upper balcony. Kelly replied that she could not hear us while team one was in the chamber. So what were we hearing? Elvis was using the Sony handy cam and was doing a sweep from one side to the other, when he saw a figure in the screen/sound room behind Jules and Alison. We could not check this out, as we did not have access in to that room. But the door was locked and the two members of staff were in their office & Team two were in the chamber. As team one were calling out we noticed that the curtain on the stage was slightly moving. Alison had a walkie-talkie to the member’s of staff, and asked one of them to check it out for us, as we were not aloud on the stage area. When she investigated it for us she confirmed that there was no draft. Team one and team two decided it was time for a break so we all met up at the base area. Time now was 9.50pm and the readings for that time were Hum 31% Temp 23.5c Kelly the leader of team two was saying during the break that they had some unexplained stuff going on in the balcony area too. And Linda W also had a spirit person come close to her while up stairs on the balcony. So this is where the footage that Kelly took comes in handy. Kelly then went to the loo, Now I here you say to your self-why do we want to know that. But when she came back she started to tell us that she heard a creaking noise; she dismissed it at first, but after drying her hands she came out of the ladies to find the door opposite the ladies was shutting. Well she knew that everyone was in the base room and on the way to the loo she had seen Malcolm and one of his lady friends on the stairs walking back to the base room. But just in case she had missed some one she open the door ready to walk back with who ever was there. But to her surprise there was no one there. In her words very STRANGE. It was then decided that we would start to investigate the main hall. We had already set up the spirit board near the stage area. Richard and Malcolm decided they would go in the chamber room and investigate in there. The two ladies, Hettie & Damo decided that they would go back upstairs to the balcony to listen and watch the main hall from there. On the spirit board was Alison, Kelly, Mandy Linda W and Linda C and Dave. Can I please say at this point that with some of the events that were unfolding the people on the spirit board changed from time to time. Linda W had a man come forward to the board she could smell an awful smell of B.O and the taste of liquorish in her mouth. He was not a nice man, so she did not want him to come to close. She was a little shaken by him so we removed her from the room. She did come back into the room but sat at the back. Alison had earlier put some balloons on the dance floor area to show any drafts. There was a large blue balloon that seem to be moving but what was strange is there was a white balloon nearer to the door and this was still, so Kelly ask if there was a spirit moving the balloon and if so could you to try and move the balloon all the way round in a circle, with that the balloon moved from left to right but with every left to right it went further round. Then it all of a sudden stopped. Alison and Jules decided they would investigate the chamber room again. After a while Jules joined the rest of the team and Alison went upstairs to the balcony and watched the last part of Linda W who had joined the board again, and had let this male spirit come close to the board. Linda was getting right into Kelly and Jules’s face. Kelly and the rest of the team continued their investigation. But this male spirit could not have been happy, as it seems from nowhere a nail was thrown across the room and hit Elvis on his back. Elvis was filming at the time. The nail was then thrown back into the room to see if he would do it again, but it did not happen again. So Kelly then said that the nail must be to heavy, so please move the balloons again, and the single white balloon that was over the other side of the room to the blue one stated to move. This is where the V.I.P stopped their investigation into Ryde Theatre. And the last reading was taken at 2am in the morning. Hum 45% Temp 15.7c We do feel that another investigation into Ryde Theatre is needed.
