Evening started of in full swing - some members of the public came dressed for the occasion in excellent costumes. Everyone was lead buy the team to the tigers cave where a video with past investigations was played out. With some light banter and chatter everyone was soon settled for the night and became aware fo their surroundings and those they had just met. Whislt the public was eating the team assembled themselves in the fort to ensure that all equipment was in working order (this was like the 100th check lol), experiments were laid out and tables and chairs prepared for the evenings spirit board. The energy at this point was amazing and two spirits had made themselves known to Paul and Linda and were very prepared to play in the evenings games. Dinner over - Team Security, Adam & Ash, escorted the public safetly to the fort via a quick toilet stop lol. The public were invited into the fort and asked to accustom themselves to their surroundings that were to be their home for the next 3 hours. It was explained that this was their night and that we had placed several trigger objects about and that they were encouraged to set them up in anyway they wished to see if the spirits may move these items during the evening. To start the evening protection was offered to all and it was recieved greatfully. Due to the nature of the fort and the space given it was impossible to seperate the group therefore the intention for the evening was to do experiments, on any other evening we would seperate into smaller group do lone vigils ect . .but this could not be the case and the public were made aware of the evenings intention. We had a seperate small locked of room which we had set up a stand alone camera and supporting IR lighting, the main funtion of this rrom was to see if the public would like to stand in total darkness and see if spirit would contact them in anyway. However our guests seemed a little camera shy so stood away from the camera lol . . . We began with the spirit board - the public had their own and the team had their own - the object to contact spirit through the team board and see if the spirit would communicate throught the public board. On this occasion this experiment proved unsuccessful -sometimes they do so we decided after around 15 minutes of trying to move on and come back later. Paul opened a new EVP software on his laptop and through this we were able to contact spirit, the purpous of this experiment is to ask spirit questions and they can communicate through the computer by taklking through the microphone . . This software is new and we are still on trial runs with it but a useful experiment as most times with EVP you use a dictaphone and the results cannot be heard until the handler has picked it apart. This way the results were straight away and everyone enjoyed trying to understand what was being said. During this time some of the team continued on the board and the public were invited to join the table. Again spirit came through and slowly but surely plucked the courage to communicate during this experiment the public became engrossed and they all ended up joining the circle. We took aside 4 and asked them to stand in a room whilst I ( Kelly) filmed the results !!! Amazing spirit movement in the shape of an orb hung around in the room for what felt like ages before exiting around the door into the fort. Break time - Tea & Coffee Part two - We decided to sit still for 20 minutes in a circle. Purpose of this is to show the public that this is the most important part of any investigation ! You have to hear the enviroment you are in to understand the natural noises from those you cannot yet explain. During this time people were pushed and rocked off chairs by spirit, chills were felt and orbs caught on cameras. It was then decided that we should all stand in a circle and play human pendulum, again this experiment is just that and we in no way can for sure say this is not mind over matter but some of the results of this experiment could not have been faked by the public !! I mean why would they - these people were being pushed backwards, forwards and side to side until they were literally shoved of the spot they stood. A very enjoyable evening had by all, even the Lions stayed awake incase we wondered to close and fell in for dinner lol ... These magnificant animals are even more scary in the dark becasue you cant see them till the last minute but they sure as hell see you as Alison found out when she was lunged at !! I would urge eveyone to attend this event in the future it has the hallmarks for a a very interesting evening with variety thrown in.
